Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Training

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage combines deep tissue bodywork with a series of “assisted yoga stretches”. In this 50 hour training we will teach the techniques of hand pressure, strokes, breathwork and stretches for a complete treatment/massage on the mat.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a powerful bodywork that dissolves physical blocks, promotes better posture and eliminates toxins from the body. It is a unique treatment, created by Kusum Modak, a Yogini master from Poona, India, based on ayurveda and yoga movements, where therapist and client work together to fully heal the body-mind.

About the Course Facilitator: Vinod

Vinod learned early in his life the potential of the non-verbal form of communication called massage. He has been offering sessions for the past 35 years.

In the mid-eighties he first travelled to Thailand and was introduced to the delights of Thai Massage, a wonderful set of techniques based on the Meridian system of energy lines in the human body. After the millenium he trained in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, a system devised by an Indian Yogini, Kusum Modak from Pune, India. Shortly after that he also trained in the amazing techniques shared by the shamanic kahuna practitioners in the Art of Lomi-Lomi massage from Hawaii.

Vinod firmly believes that the ancient art of Loving touch is one of the most ancient, natural and wonderful ways of healing Mind, Spirit and, of course Body.
