Los Jovenes

The reality of life for most children on Ometepe is that they work hard to support their familiy’s basic needs. Though school is technically free in Nicaragua, families often do not have the financial means to buy school supplies and uniforms. InanItah sponsors kids who are interested in going to school by purchasing their mandatory school uniforms.

InanItah also invites local children to explore their uniqueness through creativity. Kids’ Day is an opportunity to invite young Nicaraguans to play with paper, paints, and circus toys, to read a book or simply relax in the company of InanItah community members. We create a safe container and positive encouragement for self-discovery and the recognition of personal gifts.
