Dive into the ancient art of healing touch through InanItah’s 200-Hour Professional Massage Therapy Intensive. During this course, you will learn how to offer a full body therapeutic massage by blending a variety of healing modalities such as basic Swedish massage, deep tissue, stretching and joint mobilization, Thai table massage and energy work.
This course is inspired by the basic requirements for the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) which is the national massage certification board in the United States. The course will include important aspects of anatomy and physiology. You will learn compassionate communication skills to determine your clients needs and to get clear around any challenges that come up inside the work. You will also learn to take care of your own physical and energetical needs while giving massage.
The 200-hour massage course at InanItah is a unique opportunity to live in a spiritual community while learning a marketable skill set. Valerie Cherrin has been a practicing massage therapist since 1997 and a massage instructor since 2003. Valerie draws from a variety of healing modalities, including Thai yoga massage, trigger point therapy, myofacial release, zero balancing, reiki, and cranial sacral therapy. Through her work and experience, she has developed a style of bodywork that addresses the needs of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body.
