Healing Movement and Dance Retreat

Are you someone who primarily learns through your body, kinesthetically? Our bodies contain their own intelligence, which comes through clearly when we allow ourselves to be in the body rather than in the mind. Western culture has placed such a high value on our mental intelligence that we often miss the profound wisdom of the body. As we learn to listen to our bodies we learn about our personal and collective consciousness as humans.

Through yoga asana, movement, meditation, and creative dance, we are supported to move out of the mind and into the body, revealing our inner truths clearly. Movement connects us to a body of information that is unreachable when the mind is actively engaged in patterned ways of perceiving. By using movement to access truths about our conditioning and rework those patterns in the body, bypassing mental states of control and judgment that prevent us from experiencing a fuller range of emotion and vitality. Humans are multi-dimensional beings and using body based practices we naturally expand our talents.

Benefits of this course include but are not limited to:

  • Opening of intuition or psychic awareness
  • Developing a fuller capacity for empathy and compassion
  • Creating a clear connection to our inner truth
  • Experiencing our bliss bodies and ecstatic states
  • Ease in accessing collective consciousness
