Natural Building Workshop

Explore the art of natural building through this practical, hands-on workshop! We learn how to create structures with all natural materials from locally available, renewable resources. Gain experience in natural building techniques, including: cob, wattle and cob, home made paints, earthen plasters, along with wood and bamboo carpentry. See and learn from working demonstrations of stone point foundations, earthen floors, timber framing, thatch roofing ,clay tile roofing and compost heated hot water.

Other areas of study include the Tantra of natural building: intuitive design, the creation of sacred spaces, and the power of building with intention. We will also be considering sacred geometry and contemplative design principles.

Men and women, young and old, experienced and inexperienced, everyone can find a role they enjoy on a natural building site. Be prepared to get dirty!
