InanEating— Fantastical Forest Fruits

We’re enjoying the abundance the rainy season at InanItah, as many of the trees on the land are starting to give their first fruits! We have oranges, cacao, passionfruit, starfruit, granadilla, guanabana, anona, custard apples, dragonfruit, suriname cherries, pineapples, bananas, plantanos, and papayas all showing their colors, as well as some wild fruits including: sancolla, nancite and guava. Dana has been leading up tree planting and keeping things going in the garden until Rachel’s return in November, and she was hungry to create a fun album of fantastic fruit inspired photos to share!

Looking Forward to Next Dry Season

We are sitting down together during these rainy months and looking into how to consciously evolve life in the InanItah community. We are making changes to the volunteer program, continuing to build up the infrastructure to make it more comfortable, and hosting some exciting new workshops and activities!

InanItah Animales

We love living things at Inanitah. We love them so much there are some of them we don’t eat. Most of the time. Some, like the dogs, we’ve chosen to be here. Others, also like the dogs but the dogs that are strays and allowed via a seemingly arbitrary system by India, chief dog pack leader type she-wolf… “Just come to visit whenever you like”…..  EL Tigre the emaciated greyhound. Even if he you couldn’t use him as a xylophone you’d recognize him from half of his mouth being missing. And there’s Perrito. Gorgeous, cute, small and cuddly Perrito. I fell asleep in a hammock once. I slept there all night. Perrito slept with me. It was awesome.
